How to replant seeds from food scraps
Replanting seeds from food scraps is a great way to eliminate food waste and save on grocery costs.

What you’ll need:
- Seeds from green pepper
- Seeds from butternut
- Seeds from tomato
- 3 Small plant pots
- Potting soil for 3 plant pots
- Small mesh food strainer
How to do it:
Green pepper
- Half a pepper
- Separate the seeds and place them into a food strainer
- Leave the seeds to dry for a few hours
- Place dried seeds into potting soil and spray with water
- Cover with potting soil
- Spray with water
Tomato
- Half a tomato
- Scrape the seeds into a food strainer and separate from the pulp
- Leave the seeds to dry for a few hours
- Place dried seeds into potting soil and spray with water
- Cover with potting soil
- Spray with water
Butternut
- Half a butternut
- Scrape the seeds into a food strainer and separate from the pulp
- Leave the seeds to dry for a few hours
- Place 3 dried seeds into potting soil and spray with water
- Cover with potting soil
- Spray with water
