Much like the round-shaped nail, this shape is for someone who loves their nails short and wants a practical, no-hassle style. They are flat on top with sharp, straight corners and are one of the most common shapes on both nails and toes.
3. OVAL SHAPE
The oval shape is another great shape to elongate your fingers. This shape is for medium-length nails. The oval shape creates the illusion of length if you have wider nail beds. This is the perfect shape to use as a base for fun nail art – especially an ombré look.
4. STILETTO SHAPE
Want to make a fashion statement with your nails? Stiletto nails are fun and daring – sure to get you a second glance from your co-workers. You need long nails to achieve this look, and you will have to handle your nails with care, because, like the shoes, this pointed shape can break quite easily.
5. COFFIN SHAPE
Coffin nails, also known as the ballerina shape, are for the more adventurous nail-art enthusiast. If you are looking for practical, steer clear of this shape – it is like the stiletto shape, with the only difference being that it has a square tip. The coffin shape is great with a daring colour or ombré look.
